Banat Ancestral Tour 2024

1-19 September 2024

After six years, the Banat Tour returned in September 2024, bringing together clients Trish Stumpf Garcia, Monte and Dawn Kesslering for an 18-day journey through ancestral lands. Led by our expert guide, Staša Cvetković, the group set off from Frankfurt along a carefully planned route through regions filled with historical significance.

We traveled through the heart of Lorraine and the Palatinate, made memorable stops in Sindelfingen and Ulm, and took in the views from the Schildgebirge heights. Each destination revealed unique stories and connections, deepening everyone’s ties to their heritage. Arriving in Budapest, we were on the threshold of the Serbian and Romanian Banat and the landscapes of Bačka, where the group explored the diverse cultural and historical legacy of these regions.

With Staša’s guidance, each stop was tailored to the group’s interests, making sure everyone visited locations close to their heritage and personal history. The journey concluded through Vienna, leaving the travelers with lasting memories, new friendships, and a wealth of insights into their heritage. Now, they look forward to the next time they gather for another memorable journey through history.
